In this purpose, the company has the document “Recommended Practice on Climate Risks and Adaptation to Operations”, which establishes the management of climate risks.

Following the same direction, the “Investment Development Management (IDM) and Investment Criteria by Stage (ICBS)” standard was developed, which establishes that an assessment of climate risks and adaptation measures must be carried out for each of the stages of the project to be developed.

Therefore, the Centro Hémera U. Mayor, together with the company Amawta Consultores, will develop for the next two years the “Study of natural hazards and climate change in Los Bronces, El Soldado and Chagres operational areas of the mining company Anglo American”.
