Anglo American, with its purpose of re-imagining the mining industry to improve people's lives, has developed and financed studies in the mountain area of Lo Barnechea and its main basins through its Sustainable Mining Plan.
The Hémera Earth Observation Center has contributed with the study of "Geology and Geomorphology of the Yerba Loca basin, central Chile", to strengthen knowledge of the area and contribute with relevant information for decision-making, in view of Anglo American Sustainable Mining Plan.
