A researcher from Hémera presented at the South America Water from Space Conference.


Last Wednesday 27 th of March, Idania Briceño, presented the results of a relevant study requested by the General Directorate of Water (DGA) that aimed to detect water quality parameters from satellite imagery. The study “Determination of water quality in lake Vichuquén and lagoon Torca using Landsat 8 data”, showed an increased amount of harmful organisms (algae) in water.

Following, the graduate student of the Master in Remote Sensing, Juan Fernández, presented the results of his thesis project.
